Job Summary

The Temporary Licensed Practical Nurse (T-LPN) will provide high-quality nursing care to residents in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. This role involves supporting the healthcare team, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, vital signs, and responses to treatment.
• Assist with daily living activities, including hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
• Participate in care planning and interdisciplinary team meetings.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state of Maine.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred (long-term care experience a plus).
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles and practices.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
